What a point-to-point transfer is
A transfer is a single chauffeured ride from one named door to another: a hotel to an office, a home to a restaurant, a downtown tower to a suburban campus, or a pickup here to a city elsewhere in Ohio, Kentucky or Indiana. The car is not held afterward. That makes it the simplest way to book when you know exactly where you are starting, where you are going and when.
Airport rides are also transfers, and they have their own page: airport transfers.
How the price is set
Every transfer is a written itinerary quote. The quote is built from the pickup address, the destination, the vehicle class and the time of travel, and it tells you before you ride what the reservation covers. Tolls, parking, extra stops, waiting and cancellation terms are written on that quote. Planned stops or a delay do not by themselves turn a transfer into hourly service; anything beyond the quoted trip is agreed on the quote.
Choosing a vehicle
- Sedan: 3 passengers and 3 bags. The usual choice for one or two people.
- SUV: 6 passengers and 6 bags. Families, small teams and extra luggage.
- S-Class: 3 passengers and 3 bags when a premium car matters.
- Sprinter: 12 passengers and 12 bags for groups moving together.
Planning limits are subject to the assigned configuration. Groups above 12 passengers or 12 bags need a coordinated quote.
When hourly is the better booking
If you want the car to wait outside a meeting, move between three or four addresses, or stay flexible on the finish time, an hourly block is usually cleaner than a string of transfers. Hourly estimates are $120 for a sedan, $150 for an SUV, $230 for an S-Class and $240 for a Sprinter, with a three-hour minimum, and they include chauffeur gratuity and applicable service and card fees.
What to include in the request
Send the pickup and drop-off addresses with the entrance at each end, the date and time, the passenger and bag counts, and any child-seat notes. For a return trip, send its time too, so both legs sit on the same quote. The reservation form collects all of this, or call to talk it through.
