Residents, wedding parties, and diners book Hyde Park chauffeur service for Square restaurants, Observatory Avenue residences, and nearby Rookwood. Hyde Park Square at Erie Avenue and Edwards Road is the usual landmark. Give the restaurant, home, or office. Ault Park pickups should use Observatory Circle or the pavilion entrance. Rookwood and Kenwood shopping traffic can slow the I-71 edge of the neighborhood, especially in the afternoon.
CVG is the usual commercial airport. Lunken is the east-side general-aviation and charter field. Share passenger and bag counts against sedan 3/3, SUV 6/6, S-Class 3/3, or Sprinter 12/12.
I-71 and local square congestion can add time. We add a buffer for morning airport runs. Residential streets may not fit a high-roof Sprinter at the door.
Transfers are quotes. Extra stops belong on the itinerary. They do not automatically force hourly billing.
Hyde Park sits on the city's east side between Oakley, Mount Lookout and O'Bryonville. The Square at Erie Avenue and Edwards Road is the center, with Observatory Avenue and its residential streets running east toward Ault Park. Rookwood's shops sit just north near the Norwood side of I-71. Most airport runs head to I-71 through Norwood or use Columbia Parkway along the river before crossing into Kentucky.
For private and charter flights, Lunken Airport is a short drive south through Mount Lookout and Linwood, far closer than CVG. Travelers flying commercial still use CVG. The CVG to Hyde Park route page covers that airline trip in detail.
Churches and reception spaces around the Square, Ault Park's pavilion and nearby clubs see a lot of wedding traffic in spring and fall. A multi-stop wedding day works best as an hourly block, and larger parties can move together in a Sprinter. See the wedding transportation page for planning notes.
Hyde Park evenings often take in more than one neighborhood: dinner in Oakley or O'Bryonville, a show downtown or at Music Hall in Over-the-Rhine, or a late table back on the Square. Columbia Parkway links the east side with downtown along the river, and I-71 runs just to the north, so most of these trips are short. When the car should wait between stops, reserve an hourly block: $120 for a sedan or $150 for an SUV, with a three-hour minimum of $360 or $450. An S-Class is $230 and a Sprinter $240 per hour. For a single drop-off and a set pickup time later, two transfers can work just as well.
