Lunken sits in the Ohio River valley on the city's east side. From downtown the car runs east on Columbia Parkway, or along Eastern Avenue closer to the river, and reaches the field by way of Wilmer Avenue. When Columbia Parkway is slow, the riverside roads are the usual alternative. It is a short run compared with the drive to CVG, which is one reason charter and corporate flights use Lunken.
Your charter operator or FBO sets the time it wants passengers to arrive. Build the pickup from that time, not from the planned departure. Put the FBO name and tail number on the booking so the chauffeur goes to the right building. While the terminal renovation continues, the entrance on your confirmation is the one to use.
If you fly out and back the same day, the return pickup is its own transfer from the FBO, planned from the estimated wheels-down time. If the car should stay with you, for example a downtown meeting before the flight and a departure time that may move, an hourly block keeps it on hand; waiting during the block uses reserved time. Hourly estimates are $120 for a sedan, $150 for an SUV, $230 for an S-Class and $240 for a Sprinter, with a three-hour minimum ($360, $450, $690 and $720).
